Previously we announced the increase of the official fees for registration of the IP rights in Ukraine. On June 12, 2019 the Cabinet of Ministers signed and published Resolution No. 496, according to which the fees would be increased since July, 19 as follows:

For trademark registration - in four times;

For utility model registration - in three times;

For patent and design registration - in two times.

It should be noted that additionally to the above-mentioned increase Resolution No. 496 provides a new 20% discount on the official fees for e-filing of applications for registration of the IP objects.

Moreover, the maximum validity term of industrial design is prolonged up to 25 years.
