The Chinese Patent Office together with representatives of the company "Mikhailyuk, Sorokolat and Partners" held the public seminar on «One Belt One Road and IP related issues in the countries of the Eastern Europe and Central Asia» in Beijing, China, on April 19.

During the seminar, the representatives of our company elaborated on the following topics:

• IP system of Kazakhstan;
• Custom border measures as an integral part of IP rights enforcement in the countries of the Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

Our specialists during their speeches considered the theoretical as well as practical approaches to solving IP related issues. The cases considered as examples where our company had been involved as a representative of one of the parties were shown to describe possible issues arising during the registration and further protection of IP objects in the countries of the Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
