The representatives of Mikhailyuk, Sorokolat and Partners attended the 68th-69th APAA meetings (Asian Patent Attorneys Association) in New Delhi, India on November 17-21, 2018. The 18th General Assembly, which takes place once every three years, was also held this year during the event.

Currently, the association has more than 2,400 participants - leading IP practitioners from 20 regions of the world. APAA is a non-profit organization and with the scale of events and the number of participants plays an important role in the development of the intellectual property industry in the Asian region.

Representatives of our company attended various seminars and meetings during the event, where they discussed current issues in the field of the intellectual property and methods of their solution. We also shared our experience with the participants in registering and protecting intellectual property rights in the CIS countries. We were pleased to attend the APAA meeting which is an important event in the field of the intellectual property in Asian countries and look forward to new meetings at the following IP events.
